How To Submit A Question

*****PLEASE READ*******

Hi readers, it's Jess and this is my help/advice column blog. In order to submit a question, there are a few things you should know.

1. This blog is for anyone who needs advice. It is targeted for teens, but any age is welcome, girls and boys. You can ask almost any type of question that you need advice on. It can be about life, school, relationships, makeup/beauty related, anything.

2. However, you should know that there are a few questions that I may not be able to answer. I am not a doctor or psychiatrist and am not certified in anything. I can't answer questions about abuse or suicide. You can go to www.twloha.com. (To Write Love On Her Arms) and click on the "Find Help" link for ways to find help in many different areas such as depression, thoughts of suicide, eating disorders, abuse and self-injury. You can also go to www.hopeline.com or call 1-800-SUICIDE. The call won't show up on your phone bill and anything you say will not be repeated to anyone. TWLOHA also has ways to find help if you live in the UK or Australia. Remember, it's very important to talk to a doctor or adult you trust. You are never alone!

3. Ways to give yourself the best chance of getting a reply are: proofread, use punctuation and use enough details to help me understand the situation. Also let me know if you want me to open up the comments section after I reply so others can offer additional advice.

Also, keep in mind that young people may be reading this (though any age is welcome!) so try to keep the language under control and other content appropriate.

4. Everything you send me will be completely and utterly confidential. I won't use your e-mail (I'll delete it after I get the question), I won't use your name or e-mail address in the reply. I will change names and places.

5. To get a question answered, e-mail me at JessStirk@gmail.com. If you are really shy, you can leave an anonymous comment after this post, I will make the comment section approve-only so I will be the only one seeing it until I agree to post. Click on where it says the number of comments at the bottom of this post, choose anonymous, type in the captcha (the weird looking word, so I won't get spam comments) and that's it! Remember, in the e-mail include: your proof- read question and whether or not you want others to be able to reply to you through the comments section. Your name and e-mail will be left out.

So that's it. I don't even know if anyone will respond to this and I don't know if it will work, but I think it's worth a try, even if I can help one person. Remember, I've been through some of the same things you have or at least known someone who has and I want to help you because I care!
